The premium sedan King, Hyundai Sonata Limited

I have had a truly remarkable experience in my week driving the Hyundai Sonata Limited edition. The Hyundai Sonata is one of the best midsize sedans I’ve ever driven and I don’t say that lightly. The amount of technology featured in the Hyundai Sonata is amazing.

A cool technology feature is the ability to use your key fob to reverse and move the vehicle to park it. It has highway driving assists and a number of level 2 autonomy features. Features include; adaptive cruise control, steering wheel assist. It also has wireless charging, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. There are multiple climate zones.

The Sonata comes with an excellent Blue Link telematics system. There is a 12.3-inch color LCD custom cluster and a 10.25-inch touch screen navigation system. The LCD cluster could be configured.

I enjoyed playing around with the different options. You have a full-color heads-up display. You have multiple drive modes. The drive modes are; custom, sport, normal and smart. You have paddle shifters.

Underneath the hood is a 1.6-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that makes. 180 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque.

It also has a nice sporty look with eighteen-inch alloy wheels.

I mean, I am enamored by the Sonata. It has an elegant stylish profile. I was getting gas and a young gentleman in a two-door sports coupe came out and had to ask me again “Is that a Hyundai Sonata? They’ve really stepped their game up”. I would agree and concur.

With an 8-speed automatic transmission, it gets an EPA rated 37 miles per gallon on the highway. There’s an excellent Bose sound system.

It is my method to test audio quality using my songs Paradise and Stop The Bullying. Those songs were made with the Carnegie Mellon music department. I was able to do some driving to the northeast part of West Virginia, and western parts of Maryland.

My drives took place on I-70 and I-81. I also drove I-95, and I-97 in Eastern Maryland driving to the Naval Academy in Annapolis. I was able to meditate and pray by the water and hear the sounds of the ocean. A Beautiful thing is the Sonata also has ocean sounds that you could play. I’m able to sit down in the car using the excellent Bose sound system to get my aura and my spirit aligned and centered again.

The base price on the Hyundai Sonata limited is $33,950. The only option that came with it was a special red calypso red paint so the delivered price was $35,474. Most of the vehicle is actually assembled in Montgomery, Alabama in the United States. I’ve been to the design studio in Goyang, outside Seoul, and would love to visit the Alabama factory. Sonata Limited is a real premium vehicle with excellent value. For more information visit. www.hyundaiusa.com
