I had a spectacular time driving the all-new Chevy Colorado 4WD Z71 Crew Cab. I truly enjoyed my time driving around the Washington DC metropolitan area and even had a chance to drive all the way east across the Bay Bridge to the Chesapeake Bay.
It was serene driving by the river, where many people fish. I found a lot of calm being by the ocean, meditating, praying, journaling, and simply enjoying the waterfront.
I also had the chance to visit the Potomac River, driving on I-70 through the Appalachian Hills to the northeastern part of West Virginia on I-81. The Potomac River offered more opportunities for peaceful moments, joining others fishing by the water.
The Z71 is a sporty edition of the Colorado mid-sized pickup truck, and it was well-received at the various stops I made.
Though it’s a four-wheel-drive vehicle, it typically uses two-wheel drive for most drives. The styling is impressive, with an exceptional interior featuring an 11.3-inch color LCD with Google built-in, integrated navigation, and Apple CarPlay, which was great for my drives and integrating my iPhone.
I was also able to take my mom for a ride, and she felt comfortable riding in the back of the Colorado. The sound system is top-notch, allowing me to play music I created with the music department at Carnegie Mellon University. My album “DAH Varsity” and the “Chronicles” album, a hip hop and jazz fusion blend, sounded great.
The Colorado is packed with technology, offering a base price of $40,200. With options like the convenience package, bed liners, metallic blue paint, and more, it came to a delivered price of $46,475. For more information, visit www.chevy.com.
