Subaru Outback XT: A Serene Crossover Adventure

I had a spectacular time driving the Subaru Outback Touring XT. This all-wheel-drive vehicle provided an enjoyable and stable driving experience around the Washington DC metropolitan area. I frequently drove through the city, made trips to Annapolis on I-97, and crossed the Bay Bridge multiple times.

The Subaru Outback Touring XT delivered peace and calm, thanks to its stability and safety features. Known for its reputation in safety and technology, the Outback also impressed with its exceptional fit and finish, great comfort, and excellent handling. The vehicle felt solid and brought me a sense of tranquility, even in traffic, rain, and while attending a friend’s 50th birthday party.

Under the hood, the Outback Touring XT houses a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. I was particularly impressed with the technology in the center stack, which was both user-friendly and advanced. The interior is spacious, featuring a great design and comfort, and it’s built for off-road adventures. The vehicle is also fuel-efficient, achieving an EPA-rated 29 miles per gallon on the highway.

During my drives, which also included trips to the Baltimore area, I enjoyed listening to the calm station and music I created with the music department at Carnegie Mellon. The overall experience was both fun and relaxing.

The base price of the Subaru Outback Touring XT is $42,795, with the delivered price coming to $44,231. For more information, visit Subaru.com.
