Black and Stunning VW Tiguan R-Line Black 4MOTION

I recently spent the week with the Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0. Turbo SE R-Line Black with 4MOTION. It’s been an exciting experience. Actually, the color of the Tiguan was metallic silver with black accents. It has an eight-speed automatic Tiptronic transmission. The ride and handling were pretty exceptional during my drive.

I drove locally in the Washington DC metropolitan area. I’ve driven this R-Line from the Eastern part of Maryland to Annapolis. I also drove to the northern part of Maryland on I-83. Also, I drove it on I-270. Through this all I was able to experience a lot of great driving.

During my week it was pretty fuel-efficient. It gets an EPA rated 27 miles per gallon on the highway. The base engine is a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that makes 184 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque.

I love the VW car-net telematics. The Tiguan also has wireless charging. I was able to use the charging pad for both my iPhone and my Android devices. You can subscribe for Wi-Fi capability on this SE model.  Visually it came with black trim and 20-inch black wheels. It had a lot of black accents.

I love the visual cues. It also has a panoramic roof and a nice black interior. It just looked way more premium than a vehicle that starts at $26,245. I  loved the sound system though, this wasn’t the premium Fender sound system.

I was able to listen to Apple Music and hear the Paradise song that I created with the music department at Carnegie Mellon. The base price on the Tiguan SE R-Line Black is $31,595 and there were no options so with destination charge it came out to $32,615 delivered.  It’s manufactured primarily in Mexico at the Pueblo Mexican Factory.
