MAZDA CX-30 AWD Premium package Test Drive

I enjoyed my time spent with the CX-30. It shares a lot with the new Mazda 3. It features the new evolution of the Kodo design language. The enlarged front grill is an element I really love.

It has a skyactiv 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine that makes 186 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. That was pretty sporty on my drives up I-270 and I-495 around the Washington metropolitan area. The available technology is great.

I loved the 8.8” touch screen display. The CX-30 also has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration.

Mazda’s fob that allows you to navigate through different settings remains a favorite. The fit and finish in the premium package are nice. Highlights include; rich brown leather-wrapped interior, nice soft materials, and nice white leather seats.

The model I drove also had a 12 speaker Bose sound system. There is a lot of safety technology including; adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and other driver assistance packages. In the competitive subcompact market, this is a model to drive and test.

The CX-30 gets an EPA rated 32 MPG on the highway. The base price on this model is $29, 600. There were a few options on this vehicle.

Options included a machine gray paint job and the navigation SD card, which is a $450 expense. The model I drove came out to a delivered $31,670. For more information visit www.Mazdausa.com.
