The Lexus RX 350 has been the standard for luxury midsize crossovers for years. The new model has added an L trim which brings comfort for 7 passengers. I drove the 5 DR which only had seating for 5 with a 3.5L V6 engine that makes 295 HP and is matted to an 8-speed transmission. The RX gets 26 MPG on the highway and had 20” wheels in the model I drove for a week around the Washington metropolitan area. The model I drove also had the F-Sport trim and came with paddle shifters. You get the Lexus safety system standard with features like a pre-collision system, pedestrian detection, radar cruise control, lane departure and steering assist standard. Base price came out to $50,320 and options like a navigation system that features a 12.3” display along with a premium audio package, blind spot monitoring, a moon roof and more, delivered price came out to $59,668.
