What an incredible machine. I had a spectacular time driving in the Lexus NX 350 F-Sport all-wheel drive. The red model I drove was just stunning to look at. It was red with black accents. The interior matched the same scheme. The F sport package includes an impeccable fit and finish.

On the interior, you get the usual Lexus soft materials and impeccable stitching. The placement of ergonomics was intuitive.

In my week spent around the Washington DC metropolitan area, I journeyed as far west on I-270 to I-70 in Western Maryland. I reached around Hagerstown. I wound up all the way west to I-81 in the northeast part of West Virginia. I traveled to the far east of the state of Maryland. I Passed the Bay Bridge and Annapolis to Kent Island on I-97.

My driving also centered around the I-495 beltway. I also drove around the city streets of Silver Spring Maryland and Washington DC. Underneath the hood is a 2.4-liter turbo engine that makes 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. It’s mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The model I drove has an all-wheel-drive system.

What was stunning was the black 20-inch F-sport wheels. My goodness, the ride quality was just exceptional. Lexus also has the Lexus safety 3.0 system. It has lane tracing assists, roadside assist, pre-collision warning, and adaptive cruise control.

I drove the F Sport during Memorial Day weekend. The Washington DC metropolitan area had tornado warnings as I was trying to go west. The adaptive cruise control came in handy because it was able to stop and go along with the flow of traffic. Other safety features are exceptional.

I can recall the safety break coming on when there was a car coming in my cross path that I didn’t even notice. Beyond the fit and finish the Lexus NX 350 F-Sport Is very well put together. It’s very roomy. The space reminds me of the earlier models of the Lexus RX. It’s also very fuel-efficient. It gets an EPA-rated 28 miles per gallon on the highway. It features metallic paddle shifters. The F Sport model gives it additional performance. The model I drove also has a lot of technology integration.

The Lexus interface also has wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto integrated. There’s even a Wi-Fi 4G Wi-Fi available. Additional options on the model I drove included the Mark Levinson 17 speaker premium audio system. It sounded incredible. The music I made with the Carnegie Mellon music department has been my consistent benchmark. Bass the lows the dynamics were just exhilarating on Stop the Bullying. The F sport model I drove actually had the 14-inch touchscreen display option. It looked like a mini laptop. Bigger actually, my Mac Book Pro is on a 13-inch.

There’s also a panoramic roof and a tow package that gives the NX350 the ability to tow 2000 pounds. The base price on the Lexus NX 350 F Sport AWD is $46,650. With several of my previously mentioned options, the delivered price came to be $55,325 delivered. For more information visit www.lexus.com
