TOYOTA YARIS SEDAN XLE

Cart

Due to the struggle for profitability in the subcompact sedan market, many manufacturers have abandoned the segment all together. In the case of Toyota, they partnered with Mazda to develop and manufacture the Yaris XLE and I have to cheer the results. I was especially impressed with an interior that featured leatherette seating surfaces and a leather wrapped steering wheel. With a 1.5 L 4-cylinder engine that makes 106 HP matted to a 6-speed automatic transmission the Yaris XLE makes for quite the city cruiser getting an EPA rated 32 MPG in the city and 40 MPG on the highway. For interior comfort you also get a 7” touch screen display, 6 speakers, a backup camera and much more. The model I drove also had rain sensing wipers and a pre collision system among other features that surprised me in the subcompact. The Yaris XLE has a base price of $18,550 and a delivery price of $19,470. You also get features like 2 USB ports, Bluetooth, remote keyless entry and so much more. Visit www.Toyota.com for more info.
