BMW ULTIMATE DRIVING EXPERIENCE

Cart

With a list of over 90 Vehicles to drive, the BMW Driving Experience travels the country giving BMW customers a chance to experience the ultimate driving machine firsthand in an environment of a driving course and local driving. The experience includes a Teen Driving School, Street Drives, Autocross, and a Car Control Clinic. On a sunny Saturday I got to experience the Autocross and gave the X4 some hard paces through a well-designed course at FedEx Field in Maryland. The X4 I drove was well equipped with a sport package and the 300-hp engine which made for great dynamics as I joined a group of drivers that ranged from potential customers to current customers to members of the IHG hotel group’s Priority Club (of which I’m a member) through a new partnership with BMW. The IHG Group includes hotels like the InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites and many others. BMW customers such as my brother and several family members along with many I encountered on the driving experience will appreciate the rigors taken to ensure the ultimate driving experience and the track designed to highlight those efforts. I was able to test everything from acceleration to breaking, steering and stopping via a two-hour program that also included an introductory instruction before hitting the course. The X4 impressed me with its 300 HP. In the xDrive35i I drove, it was more than adequate to move the 4260lbs it weighs. You get an 8-speed automatic transmission and a plethora of safety technology. Other drivers were able to put the 3 series and 4 series through their paces and during the week, classes with the M series were also available at a $750 fee via the Car Control Clinic. For the Street Driving several models were on hand including the i3 and the 740, with the i8 on display for customers to get an up-close look at the technological marvel. For current customers it is a great chance to see other models and get behind the wheel and also make new friends with other customers. For prospective customers, it is a great chance to talk with experts on the technology, learn about new products like the i3 and i8 and learn what all the rave is about. I found the event engaging and exciting and will recommend any prospective car buyer to catch the tour when it appears near you. For more information, visit https://ude.bmwusa.com.
