The Ultimate Package The Audi S3 Premium Plus

Cart

I’ve had an incredible and fascinating week in the Audi S3 premium plus sedan. It is a technological marvel. I actually got a chance to witness the S3 manufactured when I made my trip to Ingolstadt Germany years ago. The S3’s engine is manufactured in Hungary. Underneath the hood is a two-liter four-cylinder TFSI engine. It makes 306 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.

This performance is increased from last year’s model by 18 horsepower and 15-pound feet of torque. I was able to enjoy beautiful breathtaking scenes driving North on I-95. I drove on I-97 all the way east to Annapolis to the Naval Academy. My drives also took me West from I-70 to I-81. I made my way to the Northeastern part of West Virginia.

Simply put the performance is exhilarating. It has a perfect combination of weight, power, and handling. It also has a lot of technology features. Audi S3 comes with its own Wi-Fi with the Audi Connect Care System.

There’s also a large 10.1-inch touchscreen. It has wireless Apple CarPlay integration. It has a 12.3-inch digital instrumental cluster that can be configured. With the Bang & Olufsen sound system, I listen to the entire Chronicles of the Electromagnetic Field General Hip-hop jazz fusion album. I made this album with the music department at Carnegie Mellon. Listening to the different tracks I could hear the audio dynamics. It brought a lot of sense of calm to me on my drives across the state of Maryland.

I felt recharged and excited. This was especially true as the weather started getting warmer bringing us into a new spring. Appearance wise it comes with 18-inch wheels. There are carbon fiber touches on the inside, along with paddle shifters. There is a seven-speed S Tronic transmission. Naturally, it comes with a Quattro all-wheel drive system. The S3 is also fuel efficient getting an EPA-rated 32 miles per gallon on the highway. Now, there were several extra options that came with the model I drove.

One is the prestige package which adds adaptive cruise control, a 3D sound system, Sirius XM 360L, and more. It also had the black optic package which adds 19-inch 5-spoke wheels. There are Black exhaust tips. There’s also Napa leather. All these options and more brought the base price of $44,900 to a delivered price of $57,440. You won’t find a better match of technology, driving, handling, style, performance, and comfort. For more information visit www.Audi.com
