Luxury compact crossovers have become the entry point for many into luxury markets. They offer a great blend of functionality, technology and relative affordability for young working professionals who want to travel in style without seeming ostentatious. The Audi Q3 excels on all accounts with Audi’s vaunted quattro all-wheel drive system, a 2.0L Turbo engine that makes 200 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque, 18-inch wheels, and in the model I drove, Audi’s excellent MMI navigation system. I enjoyed my time in the Q3 while driving around metropolitan DC with Audi’s great design and famed LED lights along with Audi Connect and in-car Wi-Fi and at a current starting price of $35,800 for the quattro all-wheel drive model, it was more compelling than a lot of its competitors. With options like the technology package and power tailgate, the Q3 I drove was just above $40,000 delivered. For more information, visit
