I had an amazing time driving the Chevy Traverse RS. This full-size SUV features three rows of seating and an integrated 12.3-inch telematics system. The model I drove, the RS, had integrated piped seats with offset red stitching, adding style and comfort to my drives around the Washington DC metropolitan area.

The exterior of the Traverse boasts a blue metallic paint color, blacked-out wheels, and a blackened grill. Underneath the hood, it houses a high-output 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that delivers impressive performance. The Chevy Traverse is a true performer, offering 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque, making it a powerful and reliable SUV for both city driving and long trips. The 20-inch wheels provide a smooth ride, and the overall design is both taut and muscular.

Inside, the Traverse RS is equipped with a range of advanced features. The 12.3-inch telematics system includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, ensuring seamless connectivity on the go. The Jet Black leather-appointed seats with red accents add a sporty touch, while the flat-bottom steering wheel enhances the driving experience. The cabin is spacious, offering ample room for passengers and cargo, with a best-in-class 98 cubic feet of cargo volume.

Safety is a top priority in the Chevy Traverse. The RS model comes with a suite of advanced safety features, including adaptive cruise control, forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, and HD surround vision. These features provide peace of mind, whether you’re navigating busy city streets or embarking on a long road trip.

My drives around the Washington DC metropolitan area, including trips to Hagerstown, Maryland, and Pittsburgh, were smooth and enjoyable. The Traverse handled well in various conditions, including a snowstorm in Baltimore. The all-wheel-drive system provided excellent traction and stability, making it a reliable choice for all weather conditions.

The base price for the Chevy Traverse RS starts at $55,400, with top-end trims reaching up to $57,400. For more information, visit Chevy.com.
