I had insightful discussions with partners like Unity Technologies, known for their game and automotive design software, and Epic Games, our collaborators in teaching kids real-time 3D technologies.
Our shared goal is to diversify the talent pool entering the automotive industry, and it was invigorating to catch up with industry leaders in person after so much virtual interaction.
My travels along I-80 led me to Oakland and Sausalito, where I stayed in San Rafael. I also enjoyed the calming sight of the Pacific Ocean while driving around, accompanied by the spa channel on the sound system. Exploring Silicon Valley was exhilarating, witnessing firsthand the innovation emerging from the area.
