Stylish and fun Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Turbo S-AWC

Cart

I am enjoying my week spent in the 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SEL 1.5 Turbo Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) Four Door SUV. I know that’s a mouthful, but this is one of the most exciting crossovers I’ve driven in a little while.

Underneath the hood is a 1.5 Liter Direct Injection Four-Cylinder Engine. It makes 152 horsepower and 184-pound feet of torque. It is mated to a Continuous Valve Transmission (CVT). It also has paddle shifters to enhance the driving experience.

The model I drove also has the Super All Wheel Control. This is Mitsubishi’s version of an all-wheel-drive system. Now, the Eclipse Cross styling is what strikes me most. The model I’m driving has Red Diamond Paint. It has sport-back styling and it’s exceptionally comfortable. It has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Integrated.

It has Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Assist, and Collision Warning. It comes with an Eight Inch Navigation System that also integrates voice commands. I also love the panoramic roof that was available on the model that I drove. You have a fuel-efficient vehicle that also has performance and styling.

There’s exceptional handling, good fit and finish, and a slew of technology features. It gets an EPA-rated 26 MPG on the highway. I was able to enjoy the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross driving as far east on I-97 to Kent Island. I also drove as far west on I-270 to I-70 in Hagerstown, Maryland, and I-81 in Northeastern, West Virginia. During my drive, I was also able to listen to the music that I made with the music department at Carnegie Mellon. My songs “Paradise” and “Stop the Bullying“, sounded okay on the six speakers in this vehicle.

The base price on the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is $28,995. With options like the Red Diamond Paint, the SEL Touring Package, the SEL Exterior Package, and more the price came out to $34,670. For more information visit www.Mistubishicars.com
