I enjoyed my time in the Ford F-250 Super Duty, Platinum. It is an incredible truck with extensive capabilities. It has an upgraded 7.3-liter V8 engine with a 10-speed automatic.
The engine makes 430 HP and 475 lb-ft of torque. It Includes a four-wheel-drive system that was able to allow me to navigate around the Washington DC metropolitan area during our recent Nor’easter.
The fittings and finish on the platinum edition are impressive.
It also has Android Auto from which I was able to listen to my song Paradise through the B&O sound system.
The audio dynamics are great. The telematics added an 8-inch touch screen. It also features Sync 3 with App link.
For convenience, the F-250 also has wireless charging capabilities. There are dual climate zones and the model I drove also had a panoramic sunroof. It has the Tremor off-road package and that came in handy around West Virginia. I tried to get a little bit closer to the Potomac River.
And its off-road package was exceptional in the snow. The traction was incredible. Normally people go and get on their boats, but I wanted to get a little bit close to the water and do my calming exercises. Meditation and praying with the ice storm just had such a serene scene. It had such a calming effect on me. The Base price on the F-250 is $66,225.
