2020 Jeep® Gladiator Mojave

Trail Rated Jeeps are the most capable off-road vehicles in the world. With the Mojave edition of the Gladiator, Jeep goes even further. Mojave is the first desert rated Jeep. It’s named after the Mojave Desert that spans California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. I’m really enjoying my time in the Jeep Gladiator Mojave 4×4.

I spent a week in this high content full-featured Jeep pickup. It has a four-wheel-drive with independent suspension. It also has an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The model I drove had a 3.6-liter V6 engine. The engine makes 285 HP and 260 lb.-ft of torque. The Jeep Gladiator also has the capability of towing up to 7650 lbs.

I drove a beautiful Hydro Blue model. Along with great capabilities, it had the great available Alpine premium audio system.

I’ve been listening to some of the Hip-Hop Jazz fusion album I did with the students from Carnegie Mellon University. The album The Chronicles of the Electric Magnetic Field General is my test driving favorite. The sound dynamics were impressive. You can also get a portable Bluetooth speaker that comes as a $295 option. The Mojave edition is also quite functional.

I’ve been taking it on shopping duties for my family. I am getting everybody’s stuff to make sure everybody is safe. Especially my family members who are at high risk for COVID-19. So, it’s pretty cool going to Costco and picking everyone’s goods.

The fit and finish are excellent. There is a leather wrap staring wheel and heated seats.

The roof is also detachable so it’s fully configurable. There’s also start-stop technology integrated. You get an EPA rated 22 miles per gallon on the highway. I loved the apps. It has its own onboard Wi-Fi Uconnect system. It also has a front and rear camera.

You could also measure your altitude and your specific location. I’ve been able to drive Western Maryland Eastern Maryland. Northern parts of West Virginia. DC metropolitan area in my week spent. In the Gladiator Mojave. The base price is $50,000 but the model I was driving has several packages. Including the alpine premium sound system that I discussed, the 8-speed transmission, the rock slider step, dual top group, the 8.4-inch Uconnect in addition to several other features that brought the deliverable price to $63,355.
