The Sexy looking VW Atlas Cross Sport with Technology

Cart

I  really enjoyed my drive in the 2020 Atlas Cross Sport made by Volkswagen. I had an opportunity to drive the 2.0 T SE model with technology.

It featured a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. That engine makes 235 horsepower and gets 258 pound-feet of torque.

It’s matted to an 8-speed automatic and gets an EPA rated 23 miles per gallon on the highway. This model also had the four motion all-wheel-drive system. I’m very impressed by the spaciousness of it. The fit and finish look great. I also like the 8-inch touchscreen display.

Telematics is very intuitive and easy to use. There’s also a wireless charging base. There’s gesture control capability with the touchscreen display. It could sense where your hands are which is a cool feature. They’re several driving modes that you get with the Cross Sport. Those modes are; Onroad, Snow, Offroad, and Custom Offroad.

The model I drove came with 20-inch wheels. It was also equipped with Volkswagen’s Car-Net. There are several USB charging stations in the vehicle. Safety and technology features like; adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and park distance control come standard. I also loved the electronic brake and the push-button start. The base price on the model I drove was $37,845.

The Aurora red paint and monster mats were the only options added. With destination charges, it came out to a delivered price of $39,260. The Cross Sport is built in Chattanooga Tennessee primarily. The engine comes from Germany and its transmission comes from Japan. So, it’s a globally built vehicle. I just have to say I admire the styling, its elegant yet sexy. If you are in the market for an SUV’s this will be a strong consideration. For more information, you could visit. www.VW.com.
