I have looked forward to driving the LE model of the aggressive looking new compact crossover Toyota introduced last year, the C-HR. It also features a plethora of technology at an affordable price. The LE model starts at $20,945 and I spent a little less than a week behind the wheel in the Washington Metropolitan area. The 2.0L 4-cylinder engine with 144 hp is standard and I found it more than adequate in my driving around the area. The LE came standard with Toyota Safety Sense P – Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection along with other safety features. I loved the electric parking brake and brake hold which is a great feature to have in the stop and go traffic in DC. The C-HR gets an EPA-rated 31 mpg on the highway.
