2016 Chrysler 300S

The Chrysler 300 took the entire industry by storm when the new rear wheel drive platform was introduced over a decade ago. So much has changed with Chrysler since then, but the 300 has remained a standard bearer in the large sedan segment. The 300 has an arsenal of technology with an 8-speed automatic transmission that includes a rotary E-shift in place of the traditional gear shifter and steering-wheel mounted paddle shifters, for example. I drove the 300S model for a week around the DC metropolitan area and garnered attention to the redline red tri-coat pearl exterior paint. 20-inch wheels came standard along with a 552-watt Beats Audio premium 10-speaker system. For the 2016 model year, the 300 got upgraded exterior lights, integrated exhaust, and an upgraded grill in addition to an upgraded interior with features like Uconnect 8.4 and in the model I drove, a panoramic sun roof. Under the hood, the 300S model now comes with 300 hp from the same 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine. The base price on the 300S is $35,470. One of the greatest driving benefits is getting 31 mpg on the highway which is exceptional for a full size sedan with a V6. For more information, visit www.chrysler.com.
