The capable yet Cute Lexus UX 250h Hybrid Luxury

The Lexus UX 250h hybrid luxury that I drove for a week around the Washington Metropolitan area was exceptional. I drove it as far east on I-97 to Kent Island and to Annapolis Maryland by the Naval Academy. I drove as far west on I-70 through Hagerstown through the hills of Appalachia. Additionally, I ventured on I-81 in the northeastern part of West Virginia. I also drove around I-495 in the Washington DC metropolitan area. The Lexus UX 250h Hybrid is a compact luxury SUV.

I couldn’t help but marvel at the impeccable fit and finish. This is what you would expect from Lexus. It’s a subcompact SUV, so it slots beneath the NX. It has room for four adults comfortably. My son and my mother rode with me and enjoyed their rides equally.

It has a lot of technology features and it integrates Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Underneath the hood is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine. That makes 181 horsepower.

The model I drove had eight speakers. It was okay to listen to the music I made with the Carnegie Mellon music department. I always love playing my song Stop The Bullying. The range in the song makes a good baseline to check out the sound quality and the audio dynamics in vehicles. It also has heated and cooled seats and a heated steering wheel. One thing I love about Toyota and Lexus is the safety system. The UX also has an auto hold.

This one also had the Lexus safety system. 2.0, with pre-collision pedestrian detection. Other features include;  Road sign assist, blind spot monitoring, and so much more. There is also a lot of great telematics. It features a 10.3. Inch color display. It also integrates Siri’s eyes free allowing for more voice controls. I was able to use that to get directions to different places I was going around the region. There’s also its own Wi-Fi network and it has Amazon Alexa compatibility. The model I drove was a luxury model. It also has a heads-up display, headlight washers, and so much more.

Overall it was an exceptional experience. Listening to watercolors on SiriusXM was also enjoyable in the well-designed cabin. It’s very fuel-efficient. I got about 41.6. Miles per gallon. Though it’s EPA-rated 38 miles per gallon on the highway. The base price on the Lexus UX 250h luxury is $40,240. Delivered it came out to a price of $43,625.

The only options were the heads-up display,  the triple beam headlights, and the heated steering wheel.  For more information visit www.Lexus.com
