2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio

So much of Alfa’s heritage is unknown to American consumers. Founded in 1910, Alfa first began building engines to use in planes and automobiles. Alfa also has a rich racing history. The Quadrifogilio logo has been part of a winning tradition for Alfa since 1933. A driver had the 4 leaf clover painted on his vehicle and won the Quadrifogilio race. He had got number 13 and the logo gave him great luck. Alfa uses this logo for their competition cars and high-performance models. Alfa racing was also once under the stewardship of Enzo Ferrari. I got a chance to drive the gorgeous Quadrifoglio and I’m impressed by so many things in this machine. Under the hood, you have a “Ferrari-derived” 2.9 L twin-turbo V6 that makes 505 HP and 443 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and gets an EPA rated 23 MPG on the highway. Inside the cabin, you get treated to firm leather and Alcantara seats. You also get carbon fiber touches and accents, and a Harman Kardon premium audio system. Behind the steering wheel, you get aluminum paddle shifters, unlocking unparallel driving excitement. I loved the Alfa exclusive DNA drive mode with an optional race setting. This is one of the best vehicles I have ever driven. The base price on the Stelvio Qudrifoglio AWD is $79,795. Options like tri-coat white paint, carbon fiber steering wheel and more, bring the total to $84,390 delivered. Visit www.alfaromeousa.com for more information.
