For the 2019 model year Toyota has totally redesigned the Rav 4 SUV. Beyond cosmetic changes, and a plethora of added technology, Toyota has also added changes to the powertrain. The 2019 Rav 4 features a 2.5 L 4-cylinder engine that makes 203 HP and 184 lb-ft of torque. I spent a week in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area with a beautiful blue XLE and really enjoyed my time driving it. In the XLE Premium AWD model I drove, it is matted to an 8-speed automatic transmission. I loved the standard Toyota safety sense 2.0 technology with its; pre collision warning system, adaptive cruise control, auto hold braking, blind spot monitoring, and so much more. The Rav 4 XLE starts at $30,900. With options like the weather package (which adds features like heated seats and 8-way power adjustable driver seats), the entune 3.0 plus with JBL Clari-Fi, a technology package and more, it came to a delivered $36,174. The Rav 4 Premium AWD gets an EPA rated 33 MPG on the highway. For more information visit
