I recently had the pleasure of driving the Lexus ES 300h F Sport and I must say, it has been a truly spectacular experience. Over the course of a week, I had the opportunity to explore the Washington DC metropolitan area, driving on notable highways such as I-95 and I-495, and venturing westward on I-270 and I-70, passing through Hagerstown and Appalachia. Additionally, I explored the northeast part of West Virginia on I-81 and made my way all the way to Pittsburgh on I-70 and I-76.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most impressive aspects of the ES 300h is its exceptional fuel efficiency. With an EPA-rated 44 miles per gallon on the highway and an impressive 43 miles per gallon in the city, it truly stands out in its segment. The interior of the vehicle is simply beautiful, with comfortable seats that are both heated and cooled, wireless charging capabilities, and convenient paddle shifters. Under the hood, you’ll find a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 215 horsepower, but it felt even more robust during my drives. The engine is paired with a smooth continuously variable transmission (CVT), and the ES 300h offers multiple drive modes, including Eco, Normal, Sport, and Sport Plus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I particularly enjoyed the wireless charging feature and the advanced safety technology, including the Lexus Safety System+ 2.0, which includes features such as lane keep assist and brake assist. The model I drove came in a striking silver paint with black accents, lending it a sinister and stylish appearance. There’s so much to appreciate about the Lexus ES 300h, beyond its impressive fuel efficiency and cutting-edge technology. The vehicle also boasts a fantastic sound system, which allowed me to fully enjoy the music I had remixed with the music department. The album, titled “Dah-Varsity: Origins of Superhero Rap<\/a>,” provides a gamified experience that aims to engage people in STEM and potentially spark their interest in working on cars like the Lexus ES 300h in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lexus has always been known for its impeccable fit and finish, and the ES 300h is no exception. Every detail is finely crafted, and the quality is evident throughout the vehicle. The F Sport seats, with their black and red accents, not only provide excellent support but also add a touch of sportiness to the interior. During my time with the ES 300h, I had the pleasure of sharing the experience with my mother and son, who also found the ride enjoyable and appreciated the vehicle’s features and the music we listened to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On a side note, I took a trip to Columbia, Maryland, where I had the opportunity to enjoy the serene beauty of the Common Lake and explore the town center. The ES 300h was the perfect companion for such excursions, offering comfort, style, and an enjoyable driving experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The base price of the Lexus ES 300h Ultra Luxury starts at $48,835, and with options such as a heads-up display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen telematics system integrating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a power roof, the delivered price of the model I drove came to $54,097.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
