To say I had an exceptional time driving a Lexus LC 500 convertible will be an understatement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had a chance to drive the coupe version of these stunning machines years ago as it appeared in the original Black Panther film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I truly anticipated spending a week in the LC 500 convertible. My time was spent driving around the Washington DC metropolitan area. I had a chance to drive on I-97 as far east over the Bay Bridge to Kent Island. I made stops along the way at Annapolis Maryland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also had a chance to drive as far west on I-270, I-70, and I-81 north to Martinsburg, West Virginia. I drove through the Appalachian Hills. In these hills, I truly was able to feel the exhilaration underneath the hood. My son and I enjoyed driving with the top-down feeling of the 471 horses with 398 pound-feet of torque. This is all from a V8 engine. It is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The LC500 convertible is an all-wheel drive. But what I really loved also was to fit and finish. The model I drove had a beautiful tan interior. With impeccable fit and finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interior featured brushed aluminum and materials including the paddle shifters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

You have Alcantara headlining in the model I drove. It also had the Mark Levinson 13 speaker 915 watts surround sound system. I was truly able to enjoy the music I made with the Carnegie Mellon music department. It sounded pretty robust. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were also 21-inch staggered wheels. You also get a lot of technology. There’s a 10.3-inch color multimedia navigation system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. You also have Alexa compatibility. There’s Wi-Fi in the vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But most of all you get a daily cruiser like no other. It drew a lot of stunning reviews in the retirement community where my mother lives. several of her neighbors wanted a ride. The Lexus LC 500 also is exceptionally fast. Lexus reports, it makes zero to 60 in 4.4 seconds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
