I spent a great time driving in the new Kia K5 GT. The GT model is the high-performance model version of the K5. The engine features a 1.6-liter turbo 4-cylinder.  It makes 290 horsepower and 311-pound feet of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It features 19-inch alloy sport wheels. I also love the red brake calipers that say GT. It was a thrilling experience especially using the paddle shifters. The commercial they had with the two drivers was pretty thrilling.  It displays the performance capabilities of what the Kia GT could do. Inside there are a lot of great features. This includes a Bose sound system that provides incredible sound. I was able to listen to my songs Stop the Bullying<\/a> and Paradise<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I created with the music department at Carnegie Mellon. Over the course of a week, I was able to drive the Kia K5 GT in Eastern Maryland around Baltimore on I-95. I also drove to Annapolis and Kent Island on I-97 and I-70 all the way west to Hagerstown. Additionally, I drove on I-81 to the northern parts of West Virginia. I had a thrilling driving experience. It always also has the highway driver assist [HDA]  package. HDA  is an exceptional feature that provides steering and assistance on the highway. It also helps with lane switching. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a 10.25-inch touchscreen navigation. I also was able to listen to the prerecorded calming waves.  That provided me with a lot of comfort. As I drove and tried to get myself centered and balanced driving this performance model. Kia K5 GT is also fuel-efficient getting an EPA-rated 32 miles per gallon on the highway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a lot to love in the Kia K5 GT like the exceptional fit and finish. A neighbor had come by and really complemented the styling. He especially loved the fastback trunk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
