I had a thrilling time in my week spent in the AMG GLA 35 4MATIC. I had a chance to drive around the Washington DC area. It was exciting to park in DC and see other GLAs around. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GLA is Mercedes-Benz’s entry into the ultra-competitive Compact SUV market segment. In the AMG, you have a 2.0-liter engine.  It makes 302 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. It also features a Turbo 4 engine underneath the hood. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Performance is what you love from AMG. It’s mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission along with the 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. I was able to drive north in Maryland on I-95. I also drove west on I-70. For performance, you have the sport mode. Besides you also have the sport plus mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another thing you have is the AMG Performance tuning. You could look at the engine performance. You can select your own configuration. AMG is the gold standard for me. There’s a lot of other technology features such as two 10.25 inch screens that are connected to the dashboard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mercedes Me is integrated into the telematics. It features apps and you have Wi-Fi in the vehicle. It also has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond performance, there’s a great fit and finish with carbon fiber touches throughout. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The model I drove came with a panoramic roof. It also featured 19-inch wheels and a dual exhaust system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The base price on the AMG GLA 35 4MATIC  is $47,550. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
