Currently, the Mustang has been the best selling American Sports car for many years. The iconic 5.0L V8 engine has become a legend on its own. Though a huge fan of the Ecoboost engines, I was delighted to get a week in the new GT Coupe premium model with the 5.0. The GT model Mustang had a 10-speed automatic transmission and gets an EPA rated 25 MPG on the highway. The 5.0 L V8 engine has 460 \u201cmustangs\u201d under the hood and makes 420 lb-ft of torque. There were so many great features in the GT coupe that I enjoyed. You get multiple driving modes including track and drag strip. I loved the hood vents, the 19\u201d wheels, the quad-tip dual exhaust system, sync 3 and so much more. The base price on the Mustang GT Coupe Premium is $39,355. The model I drove around Metropolitan Washington DC came with options like; orange fury metallic tri-coat, 10-speed automatic transmission, GT performance package, Magna ride, and more for a delivered price of $51,325.
