\nIt\u2019s been a while since I drove a Mitsubishi and I have to admit I didn\u2019t know what to expect when I got a chance to spend a week with the Outlander Sport GT 2.4 AWC. My next-door neighbor has an Outlander Sport and he loves it and that was pretty much the extent of my experience. I was pleasantly surprise and wonderfully delighted in my week with the Outlander 2.4 GT and wound up driving it more than I anticipated and having a delightful time in the process. The 2.4 GT AWC model has a 2.4 L engine that makes 168 HP and 167 lb.-ft of torque. The 2.4 L engine is matted to a CVT transmission and what Mitsubishi calls an All wheel control system. These combined systems get 28 MPG on the highway. I enjoyed the 7.0 \u201ctouch screen telematics system which featured Android Auto and Apply Carplay compatibility. Driving on I-95 was also great as the 2.4 GT had more than adequate power and driving position was very comfortable. The 2.4 GT AWC is an amazing vehicle and with a base price of $26,670 and a delivered price of $27,865 it also represents a great value.
