Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy AWD: A Luxurious and Spacious Family SUV

Cart

I had a tremendous time driving the Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy AWD. This Palisade Calligraphy is well-appointed, very roomy, and stylish. It’s an exceptional family SUV.

I had a chance to travel back to my alma mater, Syracuse University, with a classmate, my son, and her adult daughters for a reunion weekend. Our trip was fabulous; we could all sit comfortably in all three rows of seats, and there was also room for our luggage. The sound system was impeccable.

We listened to SiriusXM’s Rock The Bells channel (Channel 43) and sang tunes from our college years, including albums like “The World’s Greatest Entertainer” by Doug E. Fresh and the Get Fresh Crew.

Inside the Palisade Calligraphy, you have all sorts of luxury treatments beyond the telematics system, including richly appointed seats and displays.

The fit and finish are nice, and the roominess is impressive. The performance underneath the hood with the 3.8-liter V6 engine, producing 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, is excellent. The blackened treatment on the grille, combined with the white exterior paint and black offsets, gave it a menacing look.

It was truly a vehicle to have, and I thoroughly enjoyed driving it. We drove to Syracuse, where we had our own reception featuring a lot of faculty and local leaders.

The sound system was great, and the driving quality was excellent. We drove up I-83, I-81, all the way to Syracuse and back.

I would put the Palisade on any must-have list for those looking for a full-size SUV that is fuel-efficient, stylish, has great performance, and is great for singing tunes. For more information, visit Hyundai
